Over a period of three years, we (a husband and wife) visited 16 different senior living communities, weighing and balancing the pros and cons of each property. Since moving into Everest, we have felt extremely satisfied with our apartment and very grateful for the cheerful, professional and eager-to-please staff. In the almost seven years of living here, we have never regretted our decision.
I am Rebecca, a very satisfied resident at Everest at Oceanside. The Everest Community offers a complete line of activities of your choice. Many services are offered to the residents. Transportation for shopping and various appointments. A very comfortable home atmosphere. I find my apartment to be very cozy. Offering weekly assistance in housekeeping and weekly laundry services is a plus. This feels like home and exudes a home atmosphere here with all the caring employees that make my life very comfortable for me daily.
My father spent the past 4 months being exceptionally well cared for at Everest at Oceanside. He absolutely loved his room here and looked forward to mealtime. He wasn’t a particularly social person, but he was welcomed with politeness by the other residents and was always treated with kindness and respect by each of the staff. This final phase of my father’s life was a particularly sensitive time for our family and the staff at Everest truly made this a beautiful experience for us. From our initial tour with Yadi, and Gio’s visit to our home to evaluate my dad prior to move-in, I knew Everest would be the ideal fit for our family. We are so grateful for each of the hard-working caregivers, the med techs who were always on-point, the sweet welcome team at the front desk, the efficient dining and cleaning staff, Karie bringing added joy to the community with new activities, plus Sydney and Jill’s kind and experienced leadership. I can’t imagine being better supported by a team of professionals who welcomed us into their sweet family. We will always cherish our fond memories at Everest at Oceanside. My brother has been at Everest in Oceanside in their memory care unit for over a year. This is the most amazing care facility. The staff is responsive, diligent, compassionate, loving and take excellent care of him. I have had my brother in a number of group homes and facilities — the Everest staff is the absolute best! You can trust your loved one to them without any worries. I am so grateful for them.
The staff at Everest is remarkable. They gave my mother the best possible care and a positive, uplifting environment when it became more than what we could do at home. They are more than just professionals, they are more like extended family, and that is very comforting.
