Over a period of three years, we (a husband and wife) visited 16 different senior living communities, weighing and balancing the pros and cons of each property. With each visit, we felt increasingly informed about what aspects of senior living properties were important to us. Our tours became a vital educational process that finally led to our selecting Everest at Oceanside. Aspects that contributed to our choosing Everest included the inviting and comfortable appearance, the staff members’ welcoming attitude and the quality of the meals we enjoyed during our visits.
Since moving into Everest, we have felt extremely satisfied with our apartment and very grateful for the cheerful, professional and eager-to-please staff. In the almost seven years of living here, we have never regretted our decision.
I am Rebecca, a very satisfied resident at Everest at Oceanside. The Everest Community offers a complete line of activities of your choice. Many services are offered to the residents. Transportation for shopping and various appointments. A very comfortable home atmosphere. I find my apartment to be very cozy. Offering weekly assistance in housekeeping and weekly laundry services is a plus. This feels like home and exudes a home atmosphere here with all the caring employees that make my life very comfortable for me daily.
The staff at Everest is remarkable. They gave my mother the best possible care and a positive, uplifting environment when it became more than what we could do at home. They are more than just professionals, they are more like extended family, and that is very comforting.
My aunt recently moved into Everest at Oceanside, and I am beyond impressed with the community. At our tour, and every visit since, the warmth and care we felt was profound compared to other places visited, made so by the friendly staff and cozy aesthetic. Multiple staff members have gone above and beyond my expectations, and have shown just how passionate they are for caring for their residents, and my aunt.
We suddenly had to move a family member into assisted living, and my family and I did not know much about the process. It is a stressful and scary situation, which was indescribably improved by the staff at Everest, who made sure to take care of us and our loved one. There have been so many staff members who made this transition as smooth as possible, many have checked in with my family member regularly to ensure that she has what she needs to be comfortable. They are always amazingly friendly, open, and considerate of both the residents and their families.
